Welcome to the start of a new school year and another year of Giant A+ School
Rewards. Beginning October 2013, and ending March 2014, Freedom HS will have the
opportunity to earn cash through the Giant A+ School Rewards Program. The PTO has
chosen this program in lieu of our annual membership fee as the primary fundraiser
for the school year. Once your card is registered, it will continue to be
re-registered each year until your student(s) graduates. If you have questions,
please contact Laura Mercado, President, at email@example.com.
This year we have Certified School Nurses Mrs. Rita-Ellen Gorbos at Freedom 5 days a week and Mrs. Susan Dalton 2.5 days a week (she splits her time between here and Liberty). We also have Health Assistants Mrs. Robyn Dawood and Mrs. Mary Collins her on alternating days. Click to go to the Health Services page.
Lehigh Valley CareerLink operates a career resource center on a part-time basis in our library. Students can meet with a career facilitator to search for part-time jobs, get assistance in competing job applications, create a resume, practice job interview skills, and explore career and college information. Visits to the career center are by appointment only. Students who are interested in using the career resource center should see their guidance counselor for a referral.
The following dates are scheduled for Parent-Teacher conferences at Freedom High School. Conferences are the responsibility of the student / parent to schedule with individual teacher. Click for staff directory to contact your child's teacher.
ALERT was formed in 1987 to coordinate and fund prevention services. The coalition serves Lehigh and Northampton counties. Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network provides office space for the coalition and has served as lead agency for over twenty-one years.
